Reporting to the Director of Engineering Services, the successful candidate will Manage and oversee all aspects relating to the effective operation of all equipment within the facility. A structured & organized individual, the Equipment Maintenance Manager will lead our maintenance and Programing department and be ultimately responsible for managing all installations, Programing, repairs, and upkeep of the equipment supporting operations. The Manager will ensure the organization remains compliant with all applicable legislation with respect to ESA, CSA equipment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Main duties of this position is to manage, control, document, advise, educate, plan programing, plan maintenance and structure repair activities. Develop schedules for SigmaPoint Technologies Inc. including but not limited to:
Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations
Supervise and lead all programing processes and operations
Maintain Training Matrix and Supervise training progress.
Develop a Culture of Continuous improvement.
Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance
Maintain all machinery to ensure it’s at peak optimization
Create and implement maintenance and programing procedures
Conduct regular inspections for the facilities to detect and resolve problems – proactively
Plan and manager all repairs and installation activities
Ensure all department workers adhere to the safety policies and procedures
Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates
Oversee equipment stock to ensure spare parts are available
Must have Post Secondary education in a related field or equivalent work experience
Must have formal education in the field of equipment maintenance, mechanical or process engineering preferred, or Millwright
Must be flexible to support off shifts for education & training purposes
Must be able to attend courses out of town, some travel to the United States may be required
Machine programing experience/understanding is an asset.
Excellent computer skills, including Power Point, Excel, Word
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Must have proven team building & leadership skills.
A demonstrated high level of initiative, attention to detail and accuracy.
Professional and mature attitude.
