Duties & Responsibilities

Work within a team environment practicing “Company Values” of: Respect for every person, Honesty & Integrity, Commitment to Customer Satisfaction between Set-Up, PLR X-Ray, PVO and fellow SMT Operators to build high quality products while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment and material handling.
Be aware of and follow company ESD policies and procedures.Determination and drive to deliver quality products to internal customers.
Proactive approach at handling part exhausts and external and internal SMED activities.
Ensure accurate data capture using tools such as SIGMATRACK, Andon Board and OEE trackers.
Monitor machine best time and take action when necessary.
Ensure equipment TPM’s are completed within designated time period.
Maintain work area & ensure 5S’s are responsibilities are complete.
Must be willing to cross train in any department (IE: PLR/X-ray, Setup, HS)


Excellent communication skills and able to work in a team environment as well as independently
Organized and has a high level of attention to detail
Able to read, interpret and follow documented procedures and drawings (SOP’s, QWI, CIP’s)
Excellent computer skills
Able to stand for extended periods of time
Creative and innovative approach and focus on continuous improvement
Knowledge of Toyota KATA is an asset.
Need to embrace change in the process.
Willing to try new methods, think outside the box, participate in PDCA cycles
